Chair, Nkuma Kelvin Attacked
Coalition National is one of the major political parties in
FUTO and yesterday evening, the duo was attacked brutally
around Umuchima, Ihiagwa, Owerri West LGA.
Here is the Narration of Mr Asika Divine ;
"The 'rifle' itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of
its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil
purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while
the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness
by love, peace and spirit of sportsmanship, they can
certainly be corrected by good men with rifles(Justice)".

THE FOLLY OF THE MEN OF THE UNDERWORLD:
"Power-lust is a weed that grows only in the vacant lots of
an abandoned mind".
Exactly 8:45pm yesterday, after a successful meeting held
at Concord Lodge, Umuchima with Hon. Comr Nkuma Kelvin
(The Immediate Past Coalition Chairman) and myself in
attendance; after much deliberations, he decided to walk me
down to his gate, where I could find a bike that would take
me to my lodge since I had no intentions of sleeping in his
lodge at Concord Lodge yesterday night.
We stood in front of his gate for almost 45mins waiting for a
bike. Before we could say Jack Robinson, a bike carrying
two hefty guys on black(with their face covered with a
mask) blocked us, they had a gun and a cutlass;
immediately we sensed what was going on, I took to my
heels while Nkuma Kelvin took to his heels too.
Unfortunately, Nkuma Kelvin was not as lucky as myself,
they caught him and as he struggled effortlessly with them,
he sustained a cut very close to his neck region. The wound
was a very deep cut that had blood gushing all over his
body. They took his phone so it would look as if it was a
robbery incident.
They made it clear that they came to either kill or to leave
and indelible cut on our bodies as a reminder that the fight
ahead of us would be bloody one.
After they left, I came back to the spot were Kelvin was and
called for help.
Currently, he is on drugs now.

At this juncture, its now very clear that it's no longer a
child's play anymore.
We have made up our mind to report this case to DSS on
Monday and also the school authorities.
Politics in FUTO has always been a leadership building
platform for young potential leaders and not a violent
platform were suppression and intimidation strives.
I am totally disappointed with the recent happenings in the
political terrains of FUTO. And I condemn such act with
utmost disgust and passion.
It is not in our blood to play politics with bad blood rather
with love, peace and wisdom.
I am totally disappointed!!!
Our political fathers wholeheartedly sacrificed their lives to
fight against tyranny, and we are allowing that very same
tyranny to exist!
Honestly, Posterity will judge us for allowing such
decadence to penetrate into our system.
It is blasphemy to call tyrants, oppressors, and Violent men
leaders!
It is indeed an error!
They are more properly the messengers of satan to buffet
us.
With every drop of my blood I hate and execrate every form
of tyranny and violence, every form of slavery and
oppression all in the name of politics. I hate dictation. I
hate politics of propaganda.
I stand for Peace!
I stand for Unity!
I stand for Truth!
I stand for love
I stand for liberty.
I stand for equity, fairness and justice!
So long as tyranny exists, in whatever form, man's deepest
aspiration must resist it as inevitably as man must breathe.
Resist violence!
INNOVATION!
